MAPLE LEAFS RE-SIGN CHRIS NAGORSKI

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@mapleleafsbaseball) have re-signed Right-Handed Pitcher Chris Nagorski for the upcoming 2025 season.

Nagorski, a five-time IBL champion, will enter his fourth season with Toronto and twelfth in the IBL. Formerly of the Guelph Royals and Barrie Baycats, Nagorski currently sits second all-time in IBL history in Saves with 25 during the regular season. Last season with the Maple Leafs, he appeared in 16 games - tied for third on the team - while tossing 18 Innings, striking out 16. Last summer, Nagorski entered the playoffs allowing just one earned run over six and two-thirds innings.

“Chris is a winner, he’s been on teams that have won for the majority of his career. He’s a big team guy and is going to really help mentor some of these younger pitchers with less experience down in the bullpen. His ability to pitch meaningful innings while also being a role model for the kids, it’s a big plus,” said the club.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are a member of Canada’s best league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The over 100-year-old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
