MAPLE LEAFS RE-SIGN ADAM MARRA
TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@mapleleafsbaseball) have re-signed Left-Handed Pitcher Adam Marra for the upcoming 2025 season.
Adam Marra set a career-best 3.48 ERA while pitching out of Toronto’s bullpen in 2024 across 20.2 Innings. He registered a career-high three wins last summer, while also picking up one save for the team. Marra will enter his tenth season with the club in 2025, and continue to play an important role as a lefty specialist out of the Maple Leafs’ bullpen.
“Adam was terrific for us last year, one of the better arms we had going all year around. The arm angle, the pitch repertoire, it’s a very different look than the rest of our staff and not one that’s really found in too many other places around the league. You always want to keep opposing hitters off-balance, and Adam’s stuff can be as sneaky as anyone’s when you contrast him to the rest of our bullpen,” said the club.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are a member of Canada’s best league, the Intercounty Baseball League. The over 100-year-old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, with the league established in 1919, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
