Zach Sloan returns to Leafs for 7th season
TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club (@iblmapleleafs) announced today the signing Left Handed Pitcher Zach Sloan (Brampton, On)
Sloan is entering his 6th season in the IBL after graduating from Canisius with a career record of 10-3 with 115 strikeouts in 132.1 innings.
In Sloan’s IBL career, he has pitched in 65 games, 219 Innings with a record of 16-18 and 188 strikeouts. Last season, was a strong season for Zach as he went 5-3 with a save in 17 games with an ERA of 4.80. Sloan went back and forth from starting to relief and pitched 60 innings.
“Zach is a crafty lefty who will give you everything he has everytime he takes the ball. He is competitive and is such a great team guy. He just takes the ball whenever he is asked and eats up innings and just leaves it all on the field.” GM Jeff Lounsbury
